Alcohol and pregnancy
If you think you could become pregnant or you are pregnant, it is advised to avoid drinking alcohol altogther, to keep risks of harm to your baby to a minimum.
If you are worried about drinking alcohol during pregnancy, talk to your doctor or midwife.
All our marketing is aimed exclusively at adults – we have no intention or desire to advertise to underage or irresponsible drinkers. Please drink responsibly.
Recommended UK low risk drinking guidelines
We advocate that the UK Chief Medical Officers recommend adults do not exceed 14 units a week on a regular basis and advise that if you drink this much regularly that your alcohol consumption is spread over 3 or more days. It is also advised in order to cut down on your weekly alcohol intake, to have several alcohol free days a week.
14 Units is equivalent to 6 pints of beer at around 4% ABV or 6 medium (175ml) glasses of wine at around 13.5% ABV.
