Tom Warner, founder of Warners Gin and his team, lovingly create artisan spirits from their 200 year-old converted barn on a farm in the quaint village of Harrington, Northamptonshire. Using their own natural spring water, grain spirit, home-grown elderflowers and ten other botanicals, Curiosity, their copper pot still produces quintessentially English award-winning English gins.
This Raspberry gin tells the story of their countryside heritage and farming traditions over centuries, and, for many holds memories of foraging on country walks.
They like to keep things local to Falls farm and that includes the botanticals, either grown and harvested on the farm or very nearby. Some of those that go into this vibrantly fruity gin are fresh raspberry and blackberry juice, juniper, coriander seed, hand-picked elderflower from the local hedgerows, cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon, angelica root, orange peel, lemon peel, plus a secret ingredient…
Nose: The nose bursts with ripe, juicy raspberries and home-cooked jam. Hints of bramble vines add depth and spice.
Palate: Vibrant raspberry coulis covers the palate and melds with fresh, tart blackberries and juniper.
Finish: Elderflower and blackcurrant combine on the finish to give a soft and lingering zing.
